Welcome to Us@Bridge 47!

Us@Bridge 47 was formed by Russell Jones of Pontypool inspired by a struggle with his own mental health over the last ten years and experiencing isolation first hand. Since then, we’ve managed to gain control with support from MIND. And through this experience wanted to help others struggling themselves.  Originally we wanted to open wellbeing walks and green woodworking workshops in the Coed-Y-Canddo woodland New Inn., called the Canddo Project, hopefully this can still go ahead. We were then made aware of a fantastic project on the Mon and Brecon canal for Communities to care for this beautiful stretch of canal and so The Urban Sanctuary@Bridge 47 is born We encourage community members of all ages to join us as partners, sponsors, or volunteers. We’d love to see you at one of our events.
